WEEKLY RECAP & UPDATE

We are committed to keeping you, our base, informed on any significant developments related to our ongoing operation and Island Paradise. What follows is a short recap and answers to the most common questions we received this week. Thank you for the continued support.

ARE THERE ANIMALS AT LITTLE FRENCH KEY?

Yes! - At present, there are five tigers, three lions, and two Jaguars on our property. There are a variety of smaller animals and birds as well. As many of you know local authorities came in and seized many of our animals shortly after our recent fire. We believe firmly that this was done incorrectly and without due process, and we question the motivation and the conflicting interest behind the siege. That said, and as we stated in our public apology, we are prepared to work through the legal process as we put forward a compelling argument and a strong effort to bring our precious animals home.

HAVE PACKAGES & EXCURSIONS CHANGED?

Only one of the elements of our VIP package has changed. Instead of a Jaguar encounter, we include a water sport of your choice: Jet Ski rental, Banana Boat Ride, Fly Board. All other packages and services remain in effect and unchanged.

HAVE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION CHANGED?

We are open for business with no change in hours. A recent fire to one of our kitchens has reduced the number of people we can serve quickly on a daily basis. For this reason, we encourage you to book your reservations early on and get the appropriate confirmation. We will rebuild our kitchen, and when it is back up and running, we will increase the daily number of guest as well. The best way to secure your reservation is through email.

HAS THERE BEEN A CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP?

No. The ownership structure of LFK has not changed.

IS MOSHE OK? - PROVE IT!

Moshe is doing well, and he released a public statement earlier this week. Many of you are close to him, and we encourage you to contact him directly as you have in the past for a more personal conversation. It takes a team to meet the demands of Little French Key.

The recent fire and the last and questionable animal siege has left us with a long list of administrative responsibilities. Moshe is our fearless leader, he is involved, and he is focused on the items which matter most, namely rebuilding on LFK and returning our animals home.

HOW CAN WE SUPPORT YOU FURTHER?

There are three ways you can lend your support:

  1. Come to visit. Nothing speaks louder than you being here and enjoying Little French Key personally.

  2. Help us maintain a civilized discourse on our social platforms. We allowed (and even participated) in too much negative dialogue, and we did not benefit from it at all. We are prepared to turn the corner.

  3. Help us source a local Marine Biologist or Coral Ecologist to help us implement a coral reef conservation program.

As a whole, we can no longer engage, or entertain, disrespectful, condescending, and hateful speech on our social media pages. We are committed to a quality dialogue, and we will do what is required to keep the negative chatter away from our brand and our community.
